    November 21, 1996
  • Corrected and additional gig dates + surprise all ages gig!

    November 8, 1996
  • This is a thank you to everyone who visited this page to put us over the 1000 visitors mark!

  • Yes, I am pleased to annouce the contest was a success. Vic has already gone to his gig and said it was the best one yet he's been to.

  • As you might have noticed I have started to upgrade the look of the web page starting with some of the backgrounds and colors! I thought the CD background would be appropriate since the Rebels are re-releasing all their old albums on CD. I hope to later imbed some midi songs of The Rebels (If there are any musicians out there...) and get a better color scheme.

  • Yes, some one took the time to type out the original lyrics to "Fuck Me Dead" as they were on "In Love With The System".

  • Chris Houston on tour with the Rebels? Chris Houston, on of the original Rebels, was playing at the Toronto gig with Mickey and the boys. Hopefully Chris, who lives in Vancouver last time I checked, will be playing on the west coast with the Rebels.

    October 24, 1996
  • The new confirmed gig dates are Victoria on Nov. 28th at The Limit and Vancouver on Nov. 29th at The Starfish and Seattle on Nov. 30th at I don't know the club yet.

  • Jeff Campbell says 'The Pride and Disgrace is now available on CD and the Tomorrow Belongs to Us EP will be out for Chrismas'. So now we all know what to ask for from Santa!

  • The discography has been updated with the tracks from 'In Love With The System' and 'The Pride And The Disgrace'

  • A joke often told by Mickey at gigs is 'What did Mr. Spock find in the toilet?'
    'The Captains log!'

    October 10, 1996
  • Mickey quoted a comment to something a wrote in the FAQ about the questionability of the bands racist songs. He said quote " A stiff dick has no racial bounderies". :) You'd know he's quite the joker if you've ever been to a F.R. gig.

  • Hey what are you doing here? Go play the contest!!!

    September 27, 1996
  • The approximate dates for the western leg of the the F.R.'s tour is approximatly Nov. 28 to Dec. 2 at the four west coast locations.

  • The contest to win free Rebel's passes to the '96 tour is coming on October 1st. You will be asked to e-mail answers to a series of F.R.'s questions. The first five people to answer the most questions right will win the free passes to the gig of their choice (airfare and lodging not included :) ). See the Contest area for more details.

  • Order Forgotten Rebel t-shirts and stickers through the F.R.'s fan club. Hopefully I will have pictures and descriptions of the merchandise available soon.

    September 18, 1996
  • 'The Pride and the Disgrace' is being re-released on CD with redone drums and is supposed to sound 100% better. Soon we will all be able to have every F.R. album on CD!! You can now all throw away those worthless records (psst... give them to me)

  • I have now found out that the F.R.'s have five officially released videos. The five are: Rock and Roll is a Hard life, Boys will be Boys, Dizzy, The Hammer and Buried Alive. So everybody write in or e-mail MuchMusic for a spotlight on the F.R.'s. I've e-mailed them once but they didn't make one. I think I'll e-mail them again.

  • Dear Luc-A.: I can't phone long distance to talk to you, I am getting your e-mail messages. Please just send the information you want to tell me via the same e-mail address or find a friend with an e-mail address you can use for a bit. Thanks for trying to get some information to me and I would like to know what it is.

    September 13, 1996
  • Yes, the Unofficial Forgotten Rebels Home Page has now become The Official Forgotten Rebels Page!! Mickey has given his blessing, along with the rest of the band.

  • The rest of the world shall finally hear early rantings of Mick with the rerelease of "Tomorrow Belongs To Us", the Forgotten Rebels first EP. It has just been remastered and remixed by Chris Spedding and will be released around Christmas.

  • Since I now have a little better contact with the band I have added and upcoming gigs section so that all of us loyal fans can give them all of our money.

    September 11, 1996
  • We have contact! My first e-mail from a Rebel has arrived with great news for fans of Canada's best punk group. Jeffery Campbell has informed me that a new album is in the works! Also right now they are giging in Ontario and will be coming to Vancouver soon (hooray for us Vancouverites).

    September 1, 1996
  • After I went to the Sex Pistols concert at the PNE (in Vancouver) and I was wandering around the grounds, I ran into a former employee of Star Records (I think he was the manager there). So we talked for a little bit about Mick and the band and he said that Mick would probably love this web page and I would able to call it the Official Forgotten Rebels home page.

  • Well at long last (just kidding) the F.R.'s screen saver is here! This screen saver was made free of charge by the good people at Industrial Technology Integration (thanks Ken). It's basically the F.R.'s logo bouncing around your screen. Download and enjoy!!

    August 30th 1996
  • One of the bands friends who works for a software company has promised to create a Forgotten Rebels screen saver! I will post it as soon as it's available.

    Old
  • Rumor - There are rumors of a reunion of the original band members (from In Love With The System) for a "No Rebels Reunion" 96 Tour!!

  • New Album Rumor - A live album is in the works under the label Alliance Recordings In the U.S.

  • Re-Release - In Love With The System on CD from Star Records
    Bonus Tracks - National Unity
    Forgotten Rebel
    Reich N' Roll
    In Love With the System
    New Wave Girls

  • I've got some reviews of F.R.'s gigs in the late 70's-early 80's that I will be posting soon, along with some gig posters from that time.
