THE FORGOTTEN REBELS
Nobodys Hero's (OPM/EMI)
Rating: NNN

Punishing Hamilton roughnecks the Forgotten Rebels still grind out gritty, snotty punk rock like it was 1979, and while lead Rebel Mickey De Sadist howls like he's struggling to be heard above the roar of a bar brawl, the lads have clearly not gone soft. Nobodys Hero's features mostly new material of the brutal variety, delivered at blinding speed with the artfulness of a wrecking ball hitting a wall. In other words, just what fans would hope for. Similarly, the sleaze quotient introduced with such gems as Surfin' On Heroin remains intact in corkers like Highschool Hooker and Dickwart. Oh, yeah! Nobodys Hero's staggers into the world during a performance party at Lee's Saturday (November 4).
